Teaming Up for Optimal Health
Most chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the easiest part of a persons care. If all that the chiropractor does is to reduce the pain and stop there, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater than if you choose corrective care. In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are gone.
Corrective care aims to restore the optimal curves of your spine and nerve function, prevent degeneration or progression of degeneration, and ultimately addresses the true source of your problem, not just symptoms (pain care).
How you respond to your corrective care depends a lot on you. Are you following your treatment schedule, performing stretches and exercises, and following nutrition recommendations? You decide how far you want to go and how fast you get there!
